Maidenhair stitch video tutorial

Maidenhair stitch video tutorial

In this video tutorial, I show you how to embroider Maidenhair stitch.

A maidenhair stitch is a variation of a single feather stitch.

The maidenhair stitch is perfect for decorating the seams and for borders. Add some decorative stitches, like French knots or Lazy daisies, and create your unique border designs.

Also, the maidenhair stitch looks excellent in filling. Make rows of this stitch, one next to the other, and fill the fabric with beautiful texture.

To embroider a maidenhair stitch, you will need to mark seven parallel lines. If you use a loosely woven fabric, you can use weaving of the material as guiding lines.
